Have your say and be part of a movement
We are calling for policies that will help end the need for emergency food aid. We are regularly asked to comment and contribute by journalists and researchers on behalf of the Independent Food Aid Network. We often connect these journalists and researchers to our frontline member organisations. Members are asked to contribute to national surveys, recently to the UN Special Rapporteur's investigation on extreme poverty in the UK and to our blog page. IFAN is a member of the UK Food Poverty Alliance and is a core partner within its campaigning arm End Hunger UK.
We enable the sharing of resources, connect member organisations with each other and disseminate new research and news on policy developments to best practice. We regularly organise conferences and events so that members and others working on food poverty issues can meet, share ideas and develop plans.
Steer the Independent Food Aid Network
As a grassroots network we ask for members' feedback - we want to continue to be shaped by our members' views and ideas.
