We hold regular events throughout the year and have recently run an event 'Rethinking Food Aid' in Chester in September2018 .

Through a series of workshops, the conference focused on the development of good food projects, rethinking referral systems and different approaches to moving forward from "food banking".

We welcomed Nourish Scotland to discuss their work on Dignity in Practice as well as A Menu for Change to elaborate on their project which prioritizes access to income over emergency food parcels.

If you'd be interested in slides and/or further information about the 'Rethinking Food Aid' conference please contact ifan.uk@gmail.com.

In early 2019, we will run a seminar on social supermarkets emerging across the UK - more details soon.

We are also working on a planning a conference that would focus on the particular challenges for frontline organisations dealing with rural poverty. More on this soon.
