Independent Food Bank Survey

A survey of food banks operating independently of the
Trussell Trust network of food banks.

You can read first findings from the study of independent food banks operating in England published in December 2019 here. The research was led by Dr Rachel Loopstra with Sabine Goodwin, Barbara Goldberg, Dr Hannah Lambie-Mumford, Professor Jon May and Dr Andrew Williams.

"The survey highlights the extensive efforts that communities across the country are making in attempt to meet local needs. It characterises some of the challenges this sector faces, but also the extensive volunteer, financial, and donated food resources these organisations rely on."
