Session 1: Shaping how the Crisis and Resilience Fund (CRF) is delivered locally
An interactive online session to discuss ways that local authorities can use their Crisis and Resilience Fund (CRF) funding to best achieve the CRF guidance’s objectives at a local level.
Local authorities across the South West are required to submit their plans for CRF spend to the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) by the 1st of July. The next couple of months present a critical window of opportunity for local authorities to hear about and discuss options for CRF spend with charitable food aid providers, other frontline services, and other local authorities.
Hear from representatives of both local third sector organisations as well as local authority teams as they share best-practice examples already underway that meet the CRF guidance criteria. There will be opportunities to speak to and learn from local frontline services, local authority teams, and cash-first pioneers on how to make the most of the CRF in the coming years. Discussions will cover the significance of cash-first crisis support and the ways and means to deliver financial resilience through local community networks of support.
